Reiki in Recovery is not a new concept, however the way in which teachers and founders of OjimaReiki (Gilbert and Mary Lou Cruz) practice personal empowerment is the next level of awareness, acceptance and spirituality that many in the recovery community are discovering. H*O*P*E means Helping Others Practice Empowerment.

Through simple techniques and tools, attendees learn to relate, relax and contemplate, focusing only on unconditional love and transformative energy. All that is required is a desire to be honest, open-minded and willing to take your recovery to the next step!

Weekly empowerment circles are open to the public and are currently held at the Hollywood Beach Culture and Community Center, 1301 S. Ocean Dr., Hollywood, FL from 7 to 9 p.m. every Thursday inside the building, which is on the beach side of A1A at Azalea Terrace.
