The
Hope Center
will be a multipurpose educational facility where people of
all ages and creeds can come together to learn how to grow
in harmony and create a better life for themselves. The
center will offer on-site peer-support meetings, including,
but not limited to, 12-Step programs, abused women, cancer

The New Way of Life Institute

program will take Self-Empowerment workshops into jails and
prisons to teach inmates the basic techniques about
Cognitive Awareness Thinking (CAT). The workshops
incorporate discussions and presentations on the TFAR
process or Thoughts + Feelings = Actions = Results, so they
learn to change the way they think. This awareness alone can
alter the way they feel about themselves, and facilitate the
rebuilding of their self-esteem, that eventually leads to
modified behavior and a new perspective. This program
encourages one to take responsibility for one's life by
learning to think differently. With this knowledge and new
coping skills, prepared to interact with others, which in
turn, impacts society as a whole.
The Institute will also offer multi-lingual activities
where classes, workshops and materials are presented in
English, Spanish and other languages. Programs and
facilities are open to people of all ages, ethnicity, race
and gender; no one is ever turned away for reasons of
religion or lack of religion, sexual orientation or economic
hardship.
The
Next Step Recovery

will be formed for the purpose of providing a safe place
where persons in recovery, as well as members of their
families, and others interested in recovery, can meet
like-minded people who share similar interests.
The
NSR
will allow members to participate in fellowship and social
activities in a sober and clean environment. The
NSR
will be a centralized facility in Hollywood, Florida, where
space can be utilized by other community organizations to
hold daily, weekly, monthly and annual peer-to-peer support
group meetings, seminars and conferences, etc. |
